For anyone familiar with our practice:

Advanced registration (sign-up and payment) at least 24 hours in advance is required for all classes.

You may sign-up for individual classes or for multiple classes at a time, by clicking the “Sign-Up to Attend” button for each class you would like to attend. Once you have selected the class or classes you would like to attend, proceed to “Checkout” to make a payment.

A link will be sent to registered participants on the day of the class.

Requirements, Reminders and Suggestions for Online Classes

Intro Part 1 & Intro Part 2 Classes

For anyone who is new to the practice of Yoga or simply new to MYM’s class, this set of two classes is designed to carefully introduce participants to the foundations of the practice of asana (physical postures of Yoga) and to meditation. Participants can choose the dates that best fit their schedule for one of the Part 1 classes and one of the Part 2 classes, which will both be on the schedule more than once.

To register, please begin by signing up for the Intro Part 1 class on a chosen day, and then email us to let us know which day you would like to attend Intro Part 2 (info@mahayogiyogamission.org). Participation in both Intro Part 1 and Intro Part 2 are included in the class fee of $40.


What to Expect:

Intro Part 1

ASANA
We will focus on several asana from the basic asana that are practiced in our regular classes, including an introduction to:

MEDITATION
We will learn the basics of meditation, including an introduction to:

HOMEWORK:
We ask that in the time between attending Intro Part 1 and Intro Part 2, participants practice the asana learned during Intro Part 1 so that they can become more familiarized with the experience of trying them out and will be prepared to learn new asana in Intro Part 2.

ASANA
We will focus on additional asana from the basic asana that are practiced in our regular classes, including:

After participating in the experience of Intro Part 1 & Intro Part 2, we look forward to you attending any of our other regular classes on the schedule!
